Hours: Full time or Part time (mornings only)
Contract: Permanent, linked through event funding through an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
Actual Salary: £22,651
Reports to: SENDCo (Line Manager)and Senior Leadership Team
Based at: Cambridge Grove W6 0LB.
Start Date: September 2024
West London Free School Primary and Earls Court Free School Primary are looking to appoint a warm and engaging 1:1 Learning Support Officer to assist teachers in providing a learning environment that enables all children to access the curriculum and learn to the best of their ability.
Contractual Arrangements: Linked to the child remaining at the school and renewable on an annual basis as part of an annual review of the child’s needs.
We are looking for someone who:
- Believes that every child can, and will, succeed
- Be organised, flexible, collaborative and resilient, and prepared to tackle all challenges that arise as we establish our schools
- Have the highest ambitions for our pupils, the school and yourself
- Have a calm and professional manner with our pupils
- Be prepared to lead and support small groups of pupils independently
- Deliver and assist with planning external interventions (including Speech and Language and Occupational Therapy)
- Have excellent Numeracy and ICT skills and demonstrate an exemplary standard of written and spoken English
