Wixams Tree Primary are currently recruiting for a Family Support Worker to join our thriving school. Wixams Tree Primary first opened our doors in 2017 and since this time we have had the pleasure of seeing our school grow to one of the most over-subscribed schools in the area. We have recently merged with Knowledge Schools Trust and have implemented an enhanced, knowledge rich curriculum. Visits to our school are warmly welcomed.

We are seeking an individual who places the child at the centre of every decision which they make. An individual who is forward-thinking, organised, adaptable and can work as part of a wider team, including working with external agencies. Clear and concise communication is essential in this job role. Our Family Support Worker will work alongside our SENDCo, DSL and Inclusion Administrator as part of our Inclusion team.

Our pupils are highly engaged and motivated to learn. The wider school team you will work within at Wixams Primary, are incredibly dedicated and supportive. We have an active and supportive parent body, as well as Governing Board.

Full details of the role can be found in the attached job description and person specification

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment and safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS clearance check, Prohibition from Teaching Checks and a Section 128 Direction Check (if applicable). KST is committed to the safeguarding of the children and young people in our care and actively promotes their welfare. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
